The Rooflight Company
The Rooflight Company design and produce bespoke roof windows. We have made 3 videos for them: the inspirational "How it all Began" with their founder, architect Peter King; Great Tew Barns & the Neo Rooflight; and RIBA Award winner 2016 The Tin House in London.
"It was a pleasure working with Wych Films. They have a real knack for understanding the essence of a company and this shines through in their work. I’m thrilled with the video."
Lisa Hale, Marketing Director, The Rooflight Company
Children's Hospice South West
CHSW is a charity providing hospice care for terminally ill children and their families in Cornwall and the Southwest of England. They wanted videos for the fundraising team to use at events, and for their website so potential families could see what they offer. They also wanted videos to use within the medical profession.
"Feedback is, as anticipated, wonderful. Thank you. They will make a real difference to all areas of the organisation."
Jessica Patel, Marketing & Communications Director, CHSW
Roadnight Taylor, Energy Renewables consultants June 2015
Roadnight Taylor wanted engaging videos to clarify the arcane process of renewables consultancy, their different strands of work and to introduce their team.
"We are really over the moon with the films, thank you so much. I hope you are as proud of them as I am. You should be charging more!"
Hugh Taylor CEO Roadnight Taylor, Renewables Consultants
Mulberry Bush School
The Mulberry Bush School works with some of the most traumatised and vulnerable primary school-aged children in the country, children whose extreme behaviour has led to exclusion from all other schools and for whom the Mulberry Bush is a last resort. They wanted a fund-raising video for a new building project at the school. It was a real privilege to spend four days filming the children and staff in class, at play and at 'home' and to see the amazing work there. Years of experience filming observational documentaries for the BBC played a large part in how we approached the commission. For confidentiality reasons this video is not on-line anywhere.
"Rachel and John were wonderful to work with and very sensitive throughout filming and editing and really grasped what we needed. We so hope to work with them again."
Jane Smiley Head of Communications, The Mulberry Bush Organisation
SSAB Swedish Steel
Swedish Steel supplied and fitted the colour coated steel for the roofs and facades of RIBA Award winning Tin House. They saw the Rooflight Company's video and requested something similar for their marketing team.
"The film that Wych Films created is just fantastic and the work done was highly professional. We have received a lot of positive feedback about the film from architects. Thanks to Rachel and John."
Anke Meyer, Corporate Brand Manager, SSAB
Tabitha James Kraan
Tabitha is a leader in pioneering organic hairdressing, creating her own brand of natural and organic hair products. A year ago we made her "vision and mission" video and we followed up this summer with a series of short "how to use" videos for her high performance hair products.
"Really great videos. Thank you again for the fantastic work you have done for us, we are very happy with the end results!"
Dennes James-Kraan, Managing Director, TJK
Christopher Dean is one of the world's leading classical guitar makers. From his workshop in rural Oxfordshire, Christopher wanted a video for new clients, however far away they are, to be able to feel a personal connection when commissioning him to make such a highly individualised instrument.
"Many thanks. I'm so pleased with what you've created.....I think you’ve got the feel of what I’m doing bang on the nail!"
Michael McIntyre is a renowned herbalist and acupuncturist practitioner and teacher. People travel from all over the country for treatment for a wide range of ailments at his clinics in the Cotswolds and Harley Street where he has been using traditional Chinese herbal medicine for over 30 years.
"Thank you so much for the extraordinary film you made for us. It was wonderful working with you, I am so grateful."
Choosing a headstone is a very individual experience. People would often like to meet the carver in person to discuss ideas. As this is not always geographically possible, at Stone Letters Fergus Wessel wanted to give people an idea of who he is, how he works and what he can do for them. An intensely private man, Fergus was initially wary of being filmed so we spent time with him in his studio to understand the range of his work.
"John and Rachel produced an incredible video for our website. They captured Fergus's enthusiasm and passion for his work perfectly. Their approach was professional and personal at the same time so that Fergus felt at ease with the camera and the result is very natural. The video sits proudly on the homepage of our website and it is the perfect vehicle to convey our message to new clients."
